Swanson robbed; reward offered
The Swanson restaurant located in Perry was burglarized this past weekend. Capt. Heath Dykes with Perry Police Department said he was not exactly sure when the incident occurred, but did say it was reported Saturday morning.
“The restaurant’s computer hard drive and some money was taken,” Dykes said. “The amount of money is undisclosed at this time. They do have a security camera system, but we haven’t been able to review it due to (the fact) it was linked to the computer system that was stolen.”
Dykes said the entry looked like it was gained through a window on the alley side of the building. He said the Swanson is also offering a reward of $2,000 for the return of computer hard drive.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Jason Jones at the Perry Police Department at 478-988-2821.
