Regent Jewelers

Debra Nathaniel & Lacy Day

2922 Watson Boulevard, Galleria Mall Suite 640, Centerville

Q: Can you tell us about your company’s history?

A: Lacy: “When Hiten first began this business it operated in a kiosk inside of the Macon Mall for 14 years. He has since moved his business into this store, and we have operated here for about 5 years.”

Q: Aside from your store location, are there other ways people can take advantage of your store?

A: Debra: “Our website is www.Stuller.com. It does not list prices so we ask the customer to contact us with an item number so that we can negotiate a reasonable price.”

Lacy: “Debra is fluent in Spanish. This helps us work with a larger customer base where there would otherwise be a language barrier.”

Q: What are some of the positive ways you impact the Houston County community?

A: Lacy: “We have several different finance options that cater to different family demographics. If there is a piece we do not have in store we will find it, or we can create a custom piece for the customer.”

Debra: “Our store is well known for the custom pieces we have created. We provide a variety of gold choices (white, yellow, rose, etc.) and we allow the customers control in creating their piece.”

Q: Tell us about your employees.

A: The Girls: “It is just the two of us, we operate more as a family. Hiten allows us to work together to form a schedule that benefits us both, and we are always ready to step up when the other has an issue.”

Q: What makes your products and services the best?

A: Debra: “Of course we sell jewelry, but we also offer so much more. We buy gold. We offer fair market trade in value on rings. We also, change watch batteries, and clean jewelry free of charge. Our onsite Jeweler makes us unique in that we never have to send someones piece out of store. Anything you purchase here also comes with a lifetime warranty at no additional cost so if something happens to it, we fix it free.”

Q: What makes your customers the best?

A: Lacy: “I just love their stories!! I love when they tell us why they love a certain piece, or when they bring something sentimental in to be repaired and they tell us it’s history, and why it is so important to them.”

Debra: “Yes! Especially when they find THE ring, and their excitement is contagious. We love to see our customers smile, and the one on one relationship we form with each one is what keeps them coming back.”

Q: What do you say going into the future is your top priority?

A: Debra: “Hiten is thinking about expanding his business somewhere else. So you can say there’s a rumor of a second Regent Jewelers opening up. People from Hawkinsville, Fort Valley, and many more areas come here and they’re regulars, so that’s a plus.”

Lacy: “When he expands it’ll definitely help our name a little bit.”
