Single vehicle accident results in fatality
On Monday at 1:57 a.m., officers of the Warner Robins Police Department were called to the area of S. Houston Lake Road at Tucker Place in reference to a single vehicle accident.
Preliminary investigation reveals a 2007 Lexus RX350, driven by Jennifer Lynn Davenport (23) of Centerville, was headed south on South Houston Lake Road when she lost control of her vehicle.
Davenport left the southbound lanes and struck the curbing of the concrete dividing median.
The vehicle continued traveling south, crossing over the northbound lanes and striking the curb on the east side of the roadway. The vehicle continued traveling south, began to roll over, and struck a wooden fence at the back of 101 Tucker Place where it came to rest.
A front seat passenger, identified as Eddie Thomas Davis (26) of Americus, Ga., was pronounced deceased at the scene. Davenport was transported to Navicent Macon for medical treatment. The accident is currently under investigation by the Warner Robins PD Traffic Division and no charges have been filed at this time.
