Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrates the 2nd annual Chamber Week
Each day during Chamber Week, a signature event will spotlight one of the active committees of the Chamber and provide outstanding networking and educational opportunities. The week starts with a Chamber Week Proclamation by the Houston County Commission Chairman, Tommy Stalnaker and the Tri-city Mayors- Mayor Chuck Shaheen, Mayor John Harley and Mayor Jimmy Faircloth. The second day features the Government Relations program Eggs & Issues, featuring the regional legislators. They will offer an update on how state government is working to enhance the Robins Region. Eggs & Issues will be held at 8:00 a.m. at the Museum of Aviation in Hangar One. Also on Tuesday, the Educational arm of the Chamber will make a donation to Middle Georgia Technical College with a check presentation at 10:30 a.m. at the Warner Robins Campus. On Wednesday, May 15th, Business Development will take center stage as the Chamber hosts the Robins Regional Business Forum. The Chamber will host Special Agent Derek Lyman- Macon Domicile, Secret Service who will provide members with information about counterfeit money and areas of fraud and computer crimes in order to protect their business. The forum will take place at 12noon at the Chamber. Lunch will be provided.
Bring colleagues and friends and join the Chamber for the annual Super Business After Hours: Robins Regional Food Fest & Business Expo! Led by the Community Affairs committee, this event will be held on the fourth day of this fast-paced week. This fun event allows businesses in the Robins Region to showcase their products and services. Guests will also enjoy the opportunity to sample great food from many of the local member restaurants at the Robins Regional Food Festival, which will be held in conjunction with the Expo from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16th at Museum of Aviation – Century of Flight Hangar. Finally, on Friday, May 17th, end the week with the timeless Chamber tradition, Business on the Greens: Chamber Golf Tournament. Take part in this exciting day of networking and fun while learning more about other business leaders in the community. The tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. at The Landings Golf Club.
