Robert “Bob” Lamb, Jr.
Bob was born on July 28, 1945 in Savannah, Georgia. A 1967 graduate of Georgia Southern College, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Bob was a well-known home builder and commercial contractor since 1977 and the esteemed owner of Lamb Construction, Inc. A member of Trinity United Methodist Church, he loved all people; but more than anything, Bob cherished being “Poppy” to his grandchildren who were his life. His father, Robert Lee Lamb, Sr., preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his dedicated wife and love of fifteen years, Phyllis P. Lamb; children, Robert Lamb (Christie) and Shannon Brown (Greg), all of Warner Robins; mother, Nell Lamb, Jesup; grandchildren, Ashley and Garrett Brown and Sebastian “Bash” Lamb; siblings, Linda Knight (Jim) of Townsend, GA, and Haskell Lamb (Judy) of Chapin, SC; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be private.
