Perry police name person of interest in recent quadruple homicide

The department has identified 34-year-old Michael Jordan as a person of interest in the homicides.

PERRY — The Perry Police Department has identified a person of interest in connection with the quadruple homicide that occurred on April 4th.  The investigation is ongoing.

The department has identified 34-year-old Michael Jordan as a person of interest in the homicides. Jordan has not been charged in the deaths, but is currently in the Houston County Detention Facility on other charges, including aggravated stalking, marijuana possession and probation violation.

Officers responded to a welfare check at a residence on the 1100 block of Gaines Drive in the Timberline Mobile Home Park around 6:45 p.m. Friday, April 4. Upon entering the home, officers discovered four deceased individuals, three adults and one child.

An autopsy performed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab revealed three of the victims found at the property had been stabbed to death, while another had been suffocated. The victims were identified as 82-year-old Beaulah Robinson, 51-year-old Michelle Joiner, 37-year-old Tuquondea Robinson, and two-year-old A’laoiah Joiner.
