Perry Police have made numerous drug arrests over the past

two weeks the latest of which nabbed three for possession of marijuana and

cocaine.

On Friday, Perry police conducted a traffic stop on a white

Tahoe with no taillights.

Inside the vehicle were Montanna Moore, 25, Ketevor Thomas,

25, and Quetin Perkins, 22.

Perry Police Capt. Heath Dykes said as officers approached

the vehicle they could smell the odor of marijuana. Upon searching the

vehicle Dykes said they found over an ounce of marijuana and prescription pills.

It wasn’t until at the county jail they found the baggies of cocaine that Dykes

said the men tried to discard in the back of the police car.

The three men were arrested and charged with possession of

marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of

schedule 4 drugs and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
