Perry man charged with aggravated assault

Perry Police officers responded to 400 Riley Street, Thursday in reference to an altercation.

When officers arrived on scene, Captain Heath Dykes said there were several witnesses who claimed that one, Troy Lee Jr. Fluellen, had gotten into an argument with another male. Officers interviewed Fluellen, and Fluellen admitted that he hit the male victim with a baseball bat several times.

Fluellen was taken into custody without further incident to the Houston County Detention Center. Fluellen was charged with aggravated assault with a bond set at $7,500. According to jail records, Fluellen was released on bond on Saturday Aug. 29.
