Perry Horseshoe Pitchers Club celebrates with their recent 2022 awards banquet
HAWKINSVILLE, Ga. — The annual 2022 Perry Horseshoe Pitchers Club’s awards banquet was held at The Steakhouse in Hawkinsville, Georgia, on Jan. 14, 2023.
PHPC members were recognized at the banquet for their accomplishments during the 2022 league play. Also, special recognition was awarded to one of our long-term members, Lewis (Buddy) Ayer.
He was recognized with a trophy presentation in appreciation of his continued service at the local club level and the state tournament level. Buddy Ayer has served as Perry Horseshoe Pitchers Club’s Publicity Director for 14 years and Georgia Horseshoe Pitchers Association’s Vice President for 15 years.
As always, the public is invited to come and pitch horseshoes with the PHPC members on Monday evenings at Rozar Park in Perry, Georgia, at 6 p.m. beginning March 27, 2023.
