Perry Football program hires new DB coach
According to Perry High School athletic director and head football coach Kevin Smith, the football program has added former Thomson High School freshman team defensive coordinator and Warner Robins High School alumnus Michael Lee to be the team’s new defensive backs coach. On Lee, Smith says, “He’s going to bring a lot of energy to the program.”
Lee has prior coaching experience from his time working with the freshman team at Warner Robins High School. “He’s a young coach that wants to learn,” said Smith from the Perry High School football office late on Wednesday night. “Lee is also a weight room guy, so he’s going to bring a lot of energy into our weight room. That’s going to be one of his jobs.” Lee is reportedly a certified cross trainer.
