Northside girls wrestling crowned county champions for second straight year

For the second year in a row, the Northside Lady Eagles wrestling team has beaten out the other Houston County teams to be crowned county champions.

For the second year in a row, the Northside Lady Eagles wrestling team has beaten out the other Houston County teams to be crowned county champions.

On Wednesday, Dec. 11 Northside scored 38 points to Houston County’s 25, and Warner Robins’ 11.

Seven Lady Eagles placed first in their classification, and three other schools also had athletes place first:

100 pounds, Josilyn Duncan, Northside

105 pounds, Kaitlyn Horn, HoCo

110 pounds, MiKayla Williams, HoCo

115 pounds, Sarah Browning, Northside

120 pounds, Cameron Downing, HoCo

125 pounds, Claire Little, Perry

130 pounds, Justice Williams, Northside

135 pounds, Ellisia Clark, Northside

140 pounds, Christy King, Warner Robins

145 pounds, Zalayah Matthews, Warner Robins

155 pounds, Naimah Benzo, Warner Robins

170 pounds, Trin McDonald, Northside

190 pounds, Khyra Lewis, Northside

235 pounds, Jayla Williams, Northside
