Northside boys, Bleckley County girls come out on top in 25th Annual Warner Robins Cross Country Invitational
The 25th edition of the Warner Robins Cross Country Invitational is in the books, and many of the awards given out on Tuesday stayed in the county.

WARNER ROBINS — The 25th edition of the Warner Robins Cross Country Invitational is in the books, and many of the awards given out on Tuesday stayed in the county.
The Northside varsity boys took the top spot with 40 points (1, 4, 10, 12, 13), Houston County followed with 52 (2, 5, 8, 18, 19), Warner Robins earned bronze with 98 (9, 17, 23, 24, 25), Perry finished fourth with 117 (11, 14, 22, 30, 40) and Veterans finished in sixth place with 130 points (3, 6, 33, 43, 45).
Bleckley County varsity girls took the top spot with 46 points (1, 3, 10, 15, 17), Veterans finished second with 65 (4, 7, 11, 12, 31), Houston County finished fourth with 93 (5, 8, 13, 29, 38), Perry finished fifth with 124 (6, 24, 28, 32, 34), Northside and Warner Robins brought up the rear with 155 (2, 23, 42, 43, 45) and 186 (26, 30, 35, 46, 49) respectively.

Houston County took home the award for best combined boys and girls varsity performance.
