No.3 Panthers gear up for region game vs Spalding
The Perry Panthers (4-0) are ranked No.3 in Class 4A and return to action this week against region rival Spalding (4-1).
Last season the Panthers beat Spalding 42-11 and this week the Panthers play Spalding at home—their first home game since the season opener.
Panthers quarterback Armar Gordon Jr. has 1,022 passing yards and 11 tocuhdowns this season. He’s been on fire and plans to keep it up against Spalding.
The Panthers are also coming off a 49-7 win over Rutland last Thursday. They know how to put up points and have scored at least 34 points in three of their four games this year.
The game against Spalding is at Perry on Friday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
