At approximately 5:11 on Saturday afternoon, Warner Robins emergency personnel responded to a multi-vehicle car accident on South Houston Lake Road, just before the intersection of Leverette Road. Three consecutive vehicles received damages in the pile up from the crash.

In an accident report that the Houston Home Journal received from the Warner Robins Police Department, all three drivers were headed south on South Houston Lake Road. Amber Poole, driver of a white Toyota Highlander and in the front of the collision line, and Beth Ann Vanhoose, driver of a white Toyota Camry and middle of the crash, stated that they were stopped in traffic. Tracy Lamb, an out of town driver from St. Augustine, Florida, driving a black Mercedes-Benz stated that she had not seen that the Camry in front of her had come to a stop. Failing to see the stopped vehicles in front of her, Lamb crashed into the back of the Camry with enough force to cause the back end of the white sedan to crumple up on the Mercedes-Benz’s hood and the front of it to launch into the Highlander directly in front of it. The Highlander was able to be driven to the side of the road while Bowtie Towing was called to remove the Camry from its final resting place on top of the Mercedes-Benz’s hood.

The domino effect of the collision caused several traffic delays as responders worked to assess the damage, provide assistance to the drivers involved and clear the road. Fortunately, the EMTs responding to the scene were able to look over each driver. According to the accident report, no one was transported for immediate care and there were no serious injuries reported.
