MSG Ralph L. Mosher, Jr., U.S. Army (Ret)

Warner Robins – Ralph L. Mosher, Jr., 77, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

Ralph was born on October 22, 1935 in Rock Island, Illinois to the late Ralph L. Mosher, Sr. and Esther Rahn Mosher. He proudly served his country in the United States Army where he served two tours of duty in Korea and three in Vietnam. After twenty-three years of service in the Army, Ralph retired with the rank of Master Sergeant.

Always dedicated and determined in his work and as a student, Ralph earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri and his Master’s in Business Administration from Webster College in St. Louis, Missouri, all while enlisted in the military. After retiring from the Army, he went on to work Logistics in Civil Service from 1975 until 1993 before retiring from there as well. Ralph was an active member of Disabled American Veterans and a devout Catholic.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Betty Mosher of Warner Robins; children, Cynthia Mosher (Khalid Hamdani) of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Steven Mosher (Sean Billiingsly) of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Tracie Jackson (William) of Warner Robins, Georgia and Eric Mosher (Audrey) of Telluride, Colorado; grandchildren, Lori, Abdullah, Abdurahman, Abduraheem, Abdulmalik, Hannah, Summer, Brittany, Aaron, Caitlin, and Jaxon; great-granddaughter, Elliana; sisters, Peggy Colburn of Kernersville, Florida, Barbara Wilson of Rock Island, Illinois, Julie Moen of Illinois, Tina Aiken of Idaho; and many loving nieces and nephews. Ralph’s parents; and sister, Ruby Mosher preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Highway 165, Fort Mitchell, Alabama 36856. The family will accept flowers, or donations may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
