WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — An elderly motorcyclist ended up in an accident Monday afternoon.

On July 31, around 2:45 p.m. at Galleria Mall Dr., members of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident.

The accident concerned a Suzuki Boulevard Motorcycle, operated by 73-year-old Roseann Healan, and a Kia Soul, operated by 21-year-old Ilea McClean.

As the motorcyclist exited the Target Store and turned right onto Watson Blvd., they failed to yield the right of way to the Kia Soul. This caused the Kia, in the eastbound outside lane, to collide with the motorcycle.

Healan was injured with what is thought to be a fractured leg and was immediately transported to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. McClean was uninjured in the accident. To what extent both the Kia and Suzuki were damaged is currently unknown.

The Warner Robins Police Department Traffic Unit is currently investigating the crash.
