Miss HCHS contestants gather for tea
The contestants in the Miss Houston County High School scholarship pageant
gathered at the home of Elaine and Ken Pritchard Sunday afternoon for a tea.
The twelve young ladies will compete February 2 at Houston County High
auditorium at 7 pm for scholarship awards to further their education after high
school. The Black & Silver Brigade band, directed by Wally Shaw, sponsors
the annual pageant, now in its twenty second year. Tickets are available
from the contestants or in the HCHS band room.
