Mildred Juanita Wells, 79 passed away on May 10, 2025 in Asheville, NC. Born on June 12, 1945 to the late Eileen Page and Leon Page.
Before settling in Franklin, NC, Mildred lived in Highlands, NC, as well as Juliette, Macon, and Perry, GA. She was a proud graduate of Perry High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business from Mercer University. Throughout her career, she contributed her expertise to the Macon County Water and Soil department. Mildred was an active member of the Red Hat Society. She found joy in gardening, reading, crafting, and cooking, passions that reflected her creativity and warmth.
Surviving Mildred are her children, Michelle Lang (Harold) of Knoxville, TN, Toni Pruden (Timothy) of Franklin, NC; sister, Betty Ann Howell (Joe) of Perry, GA; grandchildren, Trey Apple (Kelsey) of Dallas, GA, Tiffany Tansil (Tice) of Knoxville, TN, Ryan Davis (Savannah) of Lawrenceville, GA, Ivaleigh Tansil of Knoxville, TN, Kenneth Apple of Dallas, GA; nephews, Danny Wilson (Lacey) of Perry, GA, Jeffrey Wilson (Jennifer) of Perry, GA; and a beloved and cherished furry baby, Samantha.
