MGSC names new marketing, communications executive director

Cheryl Stephens Carty has joined Middle Georgia State College as Executive Director for Marketing and Communications.

Most recently program coordinator for the Center of Innovation for Aerospace at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Stephens Carty holds a Master of Arts in Technical and Professional Communication from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in Marketing from University of Washington, Tacoma.

Her prior experience includes a number of roles within marketing, specifically digital marketing communications. Originally a Middle Georgia native, Stephens Carty returned home after many years away as a military spouse.

She and her family live in Warner Robins.
