Memorial Day and the truth

As I celebrated Memorial Day 2021, I was reminded of my father’s service in World War II and the Korean Wars. He had just been hired in early 1942 at Warner Robins Army Air Field but decided to join the Navy. He was on a tanker for the duration of the war, from late 1942 to October 1945, and participated in the North African campaign, the Normandy Invasion and lastly, in the Pacific Theater until the Japanese surrender in early September 1945. He witnessed the signing of the Instrument of Surrender while on one of hundreds of ships in Tokyo Bay. I am very grateful to him for his service.

My dad, Emory Waters, passed in January 2010. I’m glad he’s not here to see the current state of the country he so valiantly fought for in the 20th Century. He would be angry and heartbroken. Why? The answer is the same as the title for which this column is named. Dad frequently told me, “Son, the truth will make you free; tell the truth if it kills you.” As I look at the world on a daily basis, I am shocked at the complete disintegration of integrity and honesty, and the total lack of veracity from our leaders. Nothing demonstrates this more transparently than the recent disinformation campaign instituted by whoever is humanly in charge of this creation we call earth. The COVID-19 virus, or the SARS-Coronavirus-2, so far, has claimed 3.54 million lives worldwide since January 2020.

Just this past week, information has been released that clearly points to where and how this deadly virus originated. Two world-renowned virologists, Angus Dalgleish (who created the first HIV vaccine) and Birger Sorenson, Chairman of Immunor, a pharmaceutical company, analyzed the virus and have determined that the SARS-Coronavirus-2 has “no credible natural ancestor.” Sorenson said the virus has properties that “have never been detected in nature” and it is “beyond a reasonable doubt” that “laboratory manipulation” was the source of the virus. Chinese and American scientists have been working closely together on coronavirus research for a number of years. In a newly resurfaced paper from 2012, Dr. Anthony Fauci argued the benefits of “gain of function” research—the exact type of research the Chinese and Americans were doing, was worth the increased risk of a possible pandemic-causing lab accident. Say what? Let’s succinctly reiterate. Currently, 3.54 million people have died from a virus that was created in a lab by collaborating scientists from the United States and China. These researchers spliced some genes in a virus and turned it into something that has killed millions. Someone had better start answering some questions.

But wait, there’s more filthy disgusting corruption. Remember the hysteria when President Trump said he wanted, from the information he had received, hospitals to use hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin to treat COVID-19? The mainstream media (MSM) relentlessly piled on. Dr. Anthony Fauci pushed the much more expensive drug, Remdesivir. A study was released in May of 2020 in the Lancet medical journal suggesting that hydroxychloroquine was a dangerous medicine. On the basis of that study, the World Health Organization suspended the drug trials it was sponsoring. The MSM went nuts shaming anyone that had anything to do with hydroxychloroquine. The Lancet was told by a bevy of influential virologists that the May 2020 study was performed by a group who had no scientific background. The Lancet launched an independent investigation, and their editor-in-chief, Dr. Richard Horton, admitted that the flawed study should have never appeared in his journal. Voilà! How many times have we seen it? The MSM deliberately publishes a hearsay story that they know is based on lies, then they put all of their eggs into that basket of lies—decrying it as the absolute truth! A week later, someone announces that the story is full of holes and base on lies, but too late. The damage is done. Eighty percent of the people who heard the story believe it is true. Deliberate misinformation. This is the weapon of choice for the MSM, and it is highly effective.

Another low-cost antiparasitic drug, Ivermectin, has found the same fate as hydroxychloroquine. A study published in the American Journal of Therapeutics says that clinical trials of Ivermectin has “repeatedly reported large improvements in clinical outcomes.” Of course, the absolutely corrupt from head-to-toe World Health Organization vehemently disagrees. Last December, Dr. Pierre Kory, a physician from Milwaukee, testified before the U.S. Senate that Ivermectin is a wonder drug for the treatment of COVID-19. If you Google “treatments for COVID-19,” every article will mention some anti-viral drugs such as the super-expensive Gilead Science-produced drug, Remdesivir. Most say that hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin and Ivermectin are not approved and should not be used. The MSM fact-checkers absolutely disagree, and of course, their word is the gospel. As I always say, who fact-checks the fact checkers?

You hate to say this, but it is obvious. The powers that be are pushing the more expensive drugs and the vaccines. Before the pandemic, the U.S. pharmaceutical company and vaccine producer, Moderna, had never made a profit. Last month, their CEO, Stephane Bancel, joined the Forbes World Billionaires list for the first time, with a net worth of $4.3 billion. So far, nine individual billionaires have been created by the COVID-19 vaccine industry, with many more to come. Pfizer expects sales of its vaccine to rake in $26 billion by the end of next year. Much of this money comes from various governments from around the world. In the age of Modern Monetary Policy and helicopter money, they simply print more. We’ll deal with the consequences of that, later.
