Master Gardeners scholarship winners
The Master Gardeners of Central Georgia announce scholarship recipients for the 2013-2014 academic year. Selected to receive the Continuing Education scholarship for a rising college junior or senior is Jean Mullaney. Jean is finishing her studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology where she is majoring in environmental engineering. Receiving the scholarship presented to a graduating high school senior is Brandon Cauley. Brandon, the 2013 Valedictorian at Veterans High School, is a rising freshman at the University of Georgia. Pictured (left to right) are MGCG President Lynn Harden, Jean, Brandon, and Andy Rodriguez, MGCG Scholarship Committee Chairman.
