Marie Crumley Toms

Warner Robins – Sarah Marie Crumley Toms, 76, entered into rest on Monday, April 15, 2013.

Mrs. Toms was born on December 3, 1936 in Americus, Georgia to the late Floyd B. and Annie Lee Hurst Crumley. Marie was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church where she was active with Felton and Sandy Tyler’s Life Group and rendering service in any area she was needed. She retired from Flint Energies after many years of dedicated employment as a Member Services Representative. A longtime resident of Warner Robins, she was a member of the Pilot Club. Marie loved spending time with and taking care of her family. Some of her happiest moments were spent at the ball park or in stadiums where she and her loving husband enjoyed watching their children and grandchildren play football and Little League. She was the true epitome of a loving, faithful woman, Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. There was magic in her loving touch and sunshine in her smile. Her abundant laughter was always a source of joy to her family and many friends. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, gracious and kind; a legacy her family is proud to carry on. Her parents, and one brother, Floyd B. Crumley, Jr., preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband of fifty seven years, Herschell Wade Toms; sons, Mike Toms, Randy Toms (Jane), and Keith Toms (Zulema), all of Warner Robins; sisters, Annette Burgess and Brenda Wilson, both of Americus; grandchildren, Christopher Toms, Morgan Toms Duke, Gabriel Toms, Callie Toms Beatty, Taylor Toms, Jordan Toms, and Dillon Toms; great grandchildren, Peyton Beatty and Elliott Toms.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, April 17, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Southside Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
