Kathleen – Lorelei Bennett, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2016.

Lorelei was born on November 4, 1938 in Tampa, Florida to the late John and Bernice Cummings Davis. She loved people and was very involved in the community of Kathleen and in the lives of the residents. Lorelei was a devoted homemaker who always cared for her husband and children. She loved to cook and sew. Lorelei was of the Baptist faith.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Bill Bennett (Teresa) of Perry; Greg Bennett (Tracy) of Elko; Troy Bennett (Joan) of Newnan; Scott Bennett (Ruth) of Hawkinsville; 7 grandchildren; brother, Randall Davis (Debbie) of Bell, Florida; sister, Karen Metrin (Edwin) of Lake Mary, Florida; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial luncheon will be held at 142 Highway 247 Spur in Kathleen, Georgia on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. The Bennett Family will provide the meat. Friends are invited to come fellowship with the family in remembering Mrs. Bennett. Please bring a covered dish.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Lorelei Bennett to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr. Warner Robins, Ga 31088.
