Local defensive lineman highly praised by college

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Isaiah Harvey has been stellar on the soccer fields and even better on the gridiron during his career has a Northside Eagle. Harvey is a member of the Northside Eagles Football team, under Coach Chad Alligood. During the spring, he was presented with the region 1-5A Goalkeeper of the Year award as well.

Since the summer months began, Isaiah Harvey has been on the grind. He mentions he “had a great time at the Georgia camp and a great time competing.” The 6’1”, 255-pound defensive lineman is very versatile and can be moved around the line.

Last fall, he was selected to the 1-6A All-Region second team. Harvey was also awarded Defensive Lineman of the Year at Northside. Alongside these list of accolades, he was chosen as a member of the All-Middle Georgia second team.

Furthermore, Isaiah Harvey has recently received offers from John Carroll University and Edward Waters University. Adding these to his list of offers, Isaiah Harvey has already been offered football scholarship offers from Shorter University, the University of Central Arkansas and Westfield State.

On June 23, the stellar defensive lineman announced his Edward Waters offer, as his first from a Historically Black College & University. John Carroll University in Ohio is also among the premier offers for the rising senior athlete.

Last fall, Harvey recorded 17 solo tackles, 18 assisting tackles and 35 total tackles. Nine of those tackles were tackles for loss, while he averaged 3.2 tackles per game. Harvey has yet to announce that he has made any decisions on his collegiate future.
