Letter to the Editor – Ron Carmony
Dear Editor,
I agree with Charlie Harper about the need to enforce the “Move Over Slowpoke” law and I truly think it could be a tremendous source of income for the cities and counties that I-75 runs through, here in Georgia. All law enforcement officers need to do is watch for cars with Michigan license plates heading southbound towards Florida in the fall and then northbound in the spring. The typical Michigan driver gets in the left hand lane of I-75 in Saginaw or Flint or Detroit and stays there until he arrives in Venice, Florida. A lot of money could be made by simply enforcing the law.
