Letter to the Editor – James Erdmanczyk

Dear Editor,

Welcome to Georgia from Grand Junction Colorado.

I am happy to research and read about Kelly Burke’s conjecture called Just(US) With this said, Let’s take this a step further. Take into consideration an addition to the pundit, “It’s Just Us.”

I believe it is prudent to add that as he served as District Attorney, He is the one that scheduled criminal trials. When it comes to this that means in Superior Court sometimes a story does not get printed about the beginning of the crime and then the investigator gathers the evidence.

Then after the Grand Jury sees the evidence, decides on whether a trial will proceed. There are three different Just Us groups here. First the District Attorney’s office is “It’s Just Us” Second, then there is the Grand Jury, “Its’ Just Us”. Third, there is the jury, well not right away. About 250 summons are mailed out the Sheriff is responsible for. You could say 250 voters are considered a “It’s Just Us’. But, let’s go one step farther. The Prosecutor and the Defense Attorney choose who is not to serve on the jury. Each juror is asked to give a short introduction of themselves then witness whether they are ruled out. Finally, the Jury…”It’s Just Us”.

For Justice! January 6, 2021 of those who are charged, if they plead not guilty there are the same three groups that are “It’s Just Us.” With fifty state legislatures that may be involved with those charged in the, well, let’s call it insurrection, the legislators may be posting the bill for the cost of jurisdictions providing the jails for initial arrests providing three squares, clean cells, and maybe a list of attorneys the state has on file that may represent them.

Then there are the Republicans in each legislature. It is odd that these legislators didn’t call their federal office holders, called the congressman and asked them, “How come you are so tight-lipped about what you faced on January 6th?”

Sincerely,

James Erdmanczyk
