Letter to the Editor – Gary C. Brown
Dear Editor,
The only way to stop gun violence is with guns. We can’t possibly expect law enforcement to protect all of us.
We have millions of citizens who are licensed gun owners who carry concealed weapons. I am proud to be one myself. Licensed gun owners should be encouraged to carry their weapons to work, sporting events, shopping centers, restaurant and even churches!
These murdering thugs are cowards! They only attack people who are unarmed.
Every mass shooting in America ended instantly when an armed citizen or police officer arrived to stop the carnage. Instead of passing more stupid gun control laws that overwhelmingly disarm law-abiding private citizens, we need to encourage more private citizens to carry their weapons daily.
