Letter to the Editor – Frank W. Gadbois
Dear Editor,
The HCSD Plan for 2021-2022 “has ordained for 2021-2022 that masks will be optional for both students and staff this year.” Yet the Delta Variant is sweeping through our country and filling up our ICUs and creating a new pandemic with untold disasters and deaths on the horizon and right now!
Our public schools should require mandatory masking and vaccinations of students, teachers and staff. The Delta Variant is already affecting many of our citizens in deadly ways and we don’t want our children and teachers to be amongst the victims of this deadly virus! This virus is contagious and we don’t have much time left to deal with it by wearing masks and requiring vaccinations of every one in our schools!
