Lady Demonettes are looking relentless after back-to-back wins
The Warner Robins Lady Demonettes won back-to-back weekend games, to begin their 2022. The first of back-to-back games was against the Ware County Lady Gators. The Lady Gators lost a 42-61 matchup on the road in Warner Robins and fell to 8-5 and 3-1 on the road. The Lady Demonettes, however, improved to 12-5 (1-0) in the region. They are 6-0 at home and 4-2 on the road this season. The Lady Demonettes have scored 962 points and have allowed 769 points this season. Tasia Agee is the junior standout for the Warner Robins Lady Demonettes and Agee was third in scoring for the Lady Demonettes. Agee scored 11 points against the Ware County Lady Gators. Nevaeh Mack led with 17 points and Jada Morgan added 13 points. Up next for the Lady Gators are the Lady Trojans from Coffee. On Saturday January 8, the Northside Lady Eagles and the Warner Robins Lady Demonettes played a heated matchup in “War-Town”. The Lady Demonettes jumped out to a commanding lead, but never looked back. They won 56-36 against the Northside Lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles are now 7-5 on the season.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, Ga.) in an AAAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Northside will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with an 11-1 record after their 63-28 non-region win over Crisp County (Cordele, Ga.).
The Warner Robins Lady Demonettes will play back-to-back again this weekend. On Friday January 14, they will travel to Jesup, Georgia to face-off against the Wayne County Yellow Jackets. Coaches over at Warner Robins High School, believe “the best is yet to come and these ladies have yet to play their best basketball.”
The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Wayne County lost 57-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, Ga.). On Saturday, January 15, the Demonettes will play at home against the Warhawks from Kathleen. Tip-off for both games will be at 6 p.m.
