Kenneth Alan Kennedy, Jr., 55, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his home. A Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A private burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Reverend Mike Parker and Dr. Randy Huckabee will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Mr. Kennedy was born on August 1, 1961 to Kenneth and Sandra (Jordan) Kennedy, Sr. He was a 29 year employee at Weyerhaeuser as a Material Handler. Ken was a member of The Bridge Church. He was an avid lover of football especially when it came to the Northside High School Eagles and the UGA Bulldogs. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents Kenneth Alan (Sandra) Kennedy, Sr., Centerville; daughter, Krystle (Michael) Black, Valdosta; sister, Dawn (Mel) Presley, Centerville; grandson, Matthew Maxwell Black, Valdosta; niece, Jessica (Zane) Alley, Warner Robins; grandniece, Harper Jordan Alley, Warner Robins and numerous cousins.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Bridge Church, 2758 Hwy 41N, Fort Valley, GA. 31030.
