Kelly Allen “Al” Hammock Jr.
Perry- Kelly Allen “Al” Hammock Jr., 66, died Saturday, April 19, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1609 Sam Nunn Blvd. in Perry with Rev. Von Galloway officiating. Family will greet friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley.
Born in Warner Robins, Al was retired from Medusa Cement Company after more than thirty years of service. He was an avid coon hunter and wonderful grandfather.
Survivors include his children, Robin Hammock of Cordele, Greg Hammock (Jessica) of Perry, Kelly Hammock III of Cordele, and Matthew Hammock of Perry, step daughters, Lisa Skipper (Steve) of Fort Valley, and Kelly June Davis (Brian) of Virginia, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, wife, Gail Patton Hammock of Columbus, mother, Lucille Hammock of Perry, brother, Carl Hammock of Henderson, and sisters, Becky Ward (Walt) and Nancy Brown (Ray), both of Perry. He is preceded in death by his sons, Jerry Hammock and Kevin Hammock, and father, Kelly Allen Hammock Sr.
