Mrs. Junyth Hanson Meeks, age 85 of Warner Robins passed away on Sunday morning, December 20, 2020 in Macon, Georgia.
Born in Emanuel County, she was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Lessie Spivey Hanson, of Soperton. She was a Bibb County educator and retired after 35 years as the Bibb County Career Technical and Agricultural Education Director.
Mrs. Meeks was a faithful member and beloved Sunday school teacher at the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins.
She leaves behind, her husband of 45 years, Mack Arthur Meeks, Warner Robins, Ga., daughter, Regina Flanders (Herb), Fayetteville, Ga., son, Mickey Meeks (Vicky), Bonaire, Ga.; grandchildren, Miles Flanders, Griffin, Ga., Cole Flanders (Alecia), Augusta, Ga., April Meeks, Atlanta, Ga., Michael Meeks (Emily), Augusta, Ga., Matthew Meeks, Kathleen, Ga.; great granddaughter, Hazel Flanders, Augusta, Ga., future great grandson, Baby Boy Meeks, Augusta, Ga. and special friends, Kevin and JoLee Horne, Bradley, Jeremy and Bethany Horne and Kyndall, Natalie and Dawson Horne.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from the graveside in Westview Cemetery, Soperton, Ga. with her son-in-law, Reverend Herb Flanders, officiating.
