Kathleen, GA – Services for Julia Morton will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Perry Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Friday , November 22, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, Perry, GA.

Julia , 65, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Warner Robins, GA. She was born January 17, 1948 in Monroe County to the late Ralph Alonzo Pippin, Sr and Aleta Marsh Pippin. She was a graduate of Mary Persons High School.

Julia was employed with the Houston County Board of Education for 30 years , where she worked as a bookkeeper. She spent the majority of her career working at Perry Middle School. She also enjoyed working at the Georgia National Fair for the past 19 years , as well as , the Perry Swap Meet. She had a passion for photography, gardening and was an avid reader. She attended Harmony Community Church in Warner Robins.

Julia was proceeded in death by her husband of 22 years, Charles Albert Morton.

Survivors include her two sons, Brian(Jennifer) and Keith Morton; Two brothers, Ralph “Pip” Pippin(Tammy) and Wayne Pippin(Dianne) ; One granddaughter, Mia Claire Morton; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St. , Macon , Georgia 31201

or the American Diabetes Association, 1701 Beauregard St. , Alexandria, VA 22311.

Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
