Bonaire – Joshua Ryan Williams, 34, joined his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Monday, August 19, 2013.

Ryan was born on June 29, 1979 in Milledgeville, Georgia. He was a faithful member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. A 1998 graduate of Northside High School, Ryan was a lifelong resident of the Middle Georgia area. He worked for Rite Aid Pharmacy in the Information Technology Department. Ryan was a community servant, volunteering every Tuesday as a Counselor at Phoenix Behavioral Health Services. A huge Allman Brother’s fan, Ryan donated time and memorabilia to the Big House in Macon. Ryan was also an avid Atlanta Falcons Football fan. He enjoyed target shooting and was an avid motorcyclist. Ryan enjoyed life and was a huge advocate for organ donation. He loved his beloved Dachshund, Buddy, who is in Heaven, and Jax, his current dog. Ryan was passionate about spending time with his family. His sweet spirit and smile will be missed by all who knew him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirteen years, Velma “Roxanne” Williams, daughter, Madison Ann Williams, Bonaire; mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Dr. Dave Harvey, Warner Robins; father and stepmother, Charles E. Williams, Jr. and Norma, Byron; half-brother, SrA Michael Edward Williams, USAF; step-brothers Dave Harvey, Dale Harvey (Michelle), Dr. Don Harvey (Marcia), step-sisters, Heather Harvey Graham (Sean); Aimee Sams (Mark); sister by choice, Amanda Fuller DeRoy (JJ); grandparents, Lelia Mildred Williams, Kenneth and Myrtice Shepherd, and Vernice Harvey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. Don and Faye Jenrette; best friends, Jason Lamb and Cassie Albritton; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and so many friends.

A Memorial Service celebrating Ryan’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Sandy Valley Baptist Church – Children’s Ministries, 1124 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
