Joan Moore, 81, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care. A Private Graveside Service was held at the Freedom Mausoleum in Perry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made to Perry Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 574, Perry, Georgia 31069 or Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069.

Mrs. Moore was a long-time member of Perry Presbyterian Church. In 1960, she was the founder of the Wee Wisdom Kindergarten program at Perry Presbyterian Church, which is still a strong foundation of education for 3- and 4-year-olds in our community today.

Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Moore are her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Herbert Moore; her children, Johnny Moore (Vivian), Dan Moore (Ann), Mike Moore (Amy), and Bob Moore (Kerri), all of Perry; and 8 grandchildren, Max Moore, Nancy Moore, Cohen Moore, Katie Moore, Maddie Moore, Mick Moore, Micah Moore, and Matthew Moore.

Condolences may be left for the family in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
