Houston County Relay for Life

The Relay for Life was held at the Georgia National

Fairgrounds Friday. To start off the event,

survivors who were dressed in

purple shirts walked a lap around the track. According to the

event’s website,

there were 127 teams and 1,560 participants. The website states that over

$274,000 has been raised.
