As of Jan. 6, Henderson Village and The Langston House Restaurant in Perry officially closed its doors and had many wondering why.

ABS Farms, the management company based out of Elko owns Henderson Village and currently owns 25 parcels according to the Houston County Tax Commissioner’s website. ABS currently has 14 unpaid parcels according to online records tallying up to nearly $70,000.

Several calls to ABS Farms were unsuccessful in finding more information on the matter. Also, the village still has a working phone number that was called numerous times, but a message states it is not taking incoming calls at this time.
