CENTERVILLE, Ga. – Hispanic Heritage Month is here and now is the time to support small local businesses like La Bonita Mexican Snacks.

The business opened on Sept. 1 in the Galleria Mall food court, and it is looking forward to providing a vast array of Mexican food to its customers.

According to owner Nancy Guiterrez and her daughter Alondra Guiterrez, the business sells authentic Mexican food like tacos, gorditas which are corn tortillas stuffed with a choice of meat, cheese and other fillings.

They also sell flautas, which are rolled tortillas with a choice of meat; huaraches, which is masa with beans, meat and other toppings; along with enchiladas, tortas, quesadillas and tamales.

For snacks or antojitos they offer fruit cups, refreshers like horchata, strawberries with condensed milk; tostilocos, which is a bag of tostitos containing a lot of ingredients and toppings like chamoy; Mexican candy and mangonada, which is another snack that has mangos, lime juice, chamoy and tajin.

“We’re hoping to give them new things to taste, things that aren’t around Warner Robins. We sell things that are different, and we hope they can come try new things and hope they like it,” said Alondra.

The mother and daughter duo both shared they are happy to share their culture and food to the community and bring it to the mall.

“We’re happy that people liked the new things that we’re selling, and we feel satisfied and happy how people are supporting us,” said Alondra.

Alondra shared her mother is from Malinalco in the state of Mexico which is located south of the country’s capital Mexico City. Both are excited to serve their customers and share more authentic food with the community.

The owner hopes more people will come and on weekends, they also sell barbacoa, which are shreds of beef similar to barbeque.

The business is looking forward to providing authentic food to the Galleria Mall. People can buy from them at the food court and to keep up with them make sure to visit their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100036649974363.
