Georgia Peach Queens visit Capitol

The 2012

Miss Georgia Peach Queens, official ambassadors of the Georgia Peach Festival,

 were honored last week at the Capitol in a visit sponsored by

Representative Robert Dickey and Senator Cecil Stanton.  The queens were

presented on the floor of both the Senate and House with a resolution honoring

them by name for their contribution to the Peach Industry and Festival.

 They also visited with Governor Deal.  These queens will relinquish

their titles on Mar 16, 2013 at the Pettigrew Center at Fort Valley State

University.  Deadline to enter is March 9 or until 15 applicants are in each
