The Georgia National Fair has officially concluded another successful year, announcing it welcomed 612,706 visitors this year.

PERRY – The Georgia National Fair has officially concluded another successful year, announcing it welcomed 612,706 visitors this year.
According to their press release, the fair had visitors from across the state and beyond, experiencing agriculture, family fun, and community tradition. This year’s theme was “Fairadise and American 250,” which offered fairgoers both tropical fun and patriotic pride.
Signature events like the Fair Food Fight, Youth Livestock Shows and multiple Georgia Grown showcases highlighted locally made products and producers.
Marketing and Communications Specialist Addie Hodges described this year’s record-breaking attendance as amazing. She said that over 600,000 people through the fair gates was both humbling and exciting.
“It’s a reflection of how much the Georgia National Fair means to people across the state,” she said.
Hodges also mentioned the fair’s three record-breaking attendance nights on its second weekend. She said this was likely due to several factors, including an outstanding entertainment lineup and the introduction of 20 new fair foods for fairgoers to enjoy.
Hodges shared that her favorite part was watching people of all ages experience the fun, from rides and food to livestock shows and exhibits. She said the Georgia National Fair continues to serve as a cornerstone event for the state by supporting youth development, education and agriculture while creating lasting memories.
“It truly showcased the heart of what our fair is all about. We’re absolutely excited for next year. Each fair brings new opportunities to grow, create memories and continue a tradition so many people love. We can’t wait to see everyone again,” she said.
According to the press release, the Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority is already planning the 37th annual Georgia National Fair. Hodges said they are building on this year’s excitement to deliver another unforgettable experience.
Next year’s fair will be held from Oct. 8 to Oct. 18.
