The Georgia National Fair recently announced its 2024 concert lineup, spanning different music genres for everyone to enjoy.

PERRY – The Georgia National Fair recently announced its 2024 concert lineup, spanning different music genres for everyone to enjoy.
The concert lineup features returning artists and new artists coming to the Georgia National Stage.
Marketing Director Maggie Lane said the fair always looks for genres that appeal to everyone and provide music everyone can enjoy.
“You might not like country, but you may love R&B. You might not like R&B but maybe you like rock and roll, so we try to kind of expand all genres. We’ve done that successfully this year in our opinion,” she said.
Some artists in the lineup include Warrant, a rock band, and West Love & The 478 Band, which will perform R&B. Lane also shared the fair will have country artist Josh Turner and up and coming country artist Cooper Alan. Classic pop hits will also be performed through cover bands like Yachtley Crew and the Purple Xperience, a Prince tribute band.
Returning favorites will also grace the stage this Fall. One of those bands is the Grapevine, which is a local band that plays all the hits from all time periods. Southside Worship will also return to the stage and perform on the first Sunday of the fair.
Each year, the fair closes out with Rumba Latina, which adds Latin flair to the lineup.
Below is the full schedule of the lineup:
- Thursday, October 3: Bellamy Brothers
- Friday, October 4: Josh Turner
- Saturday, October 5: Grapevine
- Sunday, October 6: Southside Worship
- Monday, October 7: West Love & The 478 Band
- Tuesday, October 8: Warrant
- Wednesday, October 9: Ginuwine
- Thursday, October 10: Cooper Alan
- Friday, October 11: Yachtley Crew
- Saturday, October 12: Purple Xperience
- Sunday, October 13: Rumba Latina
Lane shared the fair works with a representative to pick performers for the lineup. She said a lot of work goes on behind the scenes as far as scheduling, costs, touring schedules and what their fans want.
“We always bring it to our audience and tell them to tell us who they would like to see here at the Georgia National Fair. It’s about costs, it’s about logistics and then it’s also about appeals of our fairgoers,” she said.
Lane shared excitement about approaching the fair’s 35th year. She said, in her opinion, this will be the best fair since the COVID-19 pandemic. Returning entertainment will also come back to the fair after five years.
“Obviously COVID shook up a lot of things. We weren’t able to have the 2020 Georgia National Fair, but our entertainment lineup is back, bigger and better than ever,” she said.
More entertainment includes fan favorite Mutton Bustin’ where kids can ride the sheep for eight seconds or less. For the fair’s 35th year, Lane says more magical flair is planned into the fair to celebrate the milestone.
Lane also shared new food vendors at the fair for people to enjoy.
“Our goal is to always keep everybody coming back year after year for some of their classic favorites that we have like Robinson’s Racing Pigs or funnel cakes but then also create a new experience each time to keep it unique and memorable. That was the goal this year and we’re just excited to have everyone here in a couple of months,” she said.
The Georgia National Fair will be held from Oct. 3 to 13. Lane encourages everyone who has any questions to visit their website and follow them on social media.
In the meantime, the fair also provides a Spotify playlist that includes a handful of music from the artists’ top songs. Check it out on Spotify .
