Fromm non-throwing hand fracture called “insignificant” by Bulldogs coach Smart
The good news is that there wasn’t a fireworks accident or any other kind of incident that might have derailed former Houston County High School quarterback and University of Georgia sophomore starting quarterback Jake Fromm from participating in preseason camp or starting the upcoming season.
Earlier this week Fromm suffered an injury to his non-throwing hand during what is being referred to as a “freak boating accident.” The hand is fractured but according to all reports should not keep him from missing camp. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart told ESPN the same thing earlier today, calling the injury “insignificant.”
Fromm passed for over 2,600 yards and 24 touchdowns as a true freshman following an All-American high school career at Houston County under then head coach Von Lassiter.
