Spring Into Good Health is an opportunity to educate the public on the different aspects of their health and to bring resources to the Peach County community. It was also a great opportunity for networking with over 40 vendors in attendance.

These vendors included the Peach County Health Department, North Central Health District, Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Peach State Health Plan Inc., Crisis Line And Safe House of Central Georgia, Middle Georgia Wound Solution LLC., Atrium Health Navicent, Fort Valley State University, Central Georgia Technical College, Trojan Nation Touchdown Club, Peach Concerned Citizens, IHope Inc., LifeLink Foundation, Head Start, Reign Premium Sanitary Pads, It Takes a Village Maternity Expo, and District Attorney Anita Howard, to name a few.

Those in attendance were able to receive free health screening, such as blood pressure screenings, glucose and cholesterol screenings, and heart monitoring from Atrium Health Navicent. The Atrium Health Navicent Mammography Coach was also on site for women over 40 to get a health screening.

Throughout the event, there were multiple raffles, which had prizes including Bluetooth speakers, Bluetooth coolers, and similar paraphernalia from the Peach County Health Department.

This year’s Spring Into Good Health featured a Health passport, which could be stamped at each booth. Once a person received five stamps on their passport, they received a free meal ticket, which could be redeemed at Soul to Soul Food or at Sunset Slush.

Millicent Jordan, the Customer Service Representative Supervisor of the Peach County Health Department, previously spoke with The Leader Tribune about the upcoming 2026 Spring into Good Health. During the interview, Jordan had something to say to the public about their health.

“Your health matters. Your well-being matters. Your family matters. This year, we are especially proud to share that we have received our highest level of sponsorship support to date, reflecting the growing dedication and investment in the health of our community. Community wellness is a shared responsibility, and we grow stronger when we come together. We encourage you to come out, take advantage of the free services and resources. See firsthand the strong commitment our local partners have toward improving the health and well-being of Peach County,” Jordan said.
