Flowery Branch ends Lady Panthers’ season
The Perry High School Lady Panther Softball team finished their season on Tuesday evening, as they lost a double header to the Flowery Branch Lady Falcons. The first game the lady Panthers lost 13-0. Game two looked better & the lady Panthers did score three runs, but the lady Panthers could not keep up with the Lady Falcons. The Flowery Branch Lady Panthers will advance to the next round of the GHSA State AAAA Playoffs & will play the Northwest Whitfield Bruins.

Lady Panthers softball team finished 16-8, (10-3) on the season. The Lady Panthers were 8-3 at home & 8-5 on the road. According to MaxPreps.com, the Perry Lady Panthers sported a 40% batting average in 74 plate apperances. This number came in just 64 at bats. The Perry Lady Panthers scored on 17 runs this season & also obtained an outstanding fielding percentage as well. The lady Panthers finished this season with a 93% fielding percentage, which is their new team record in a season.
The Lady Panthers finished ranked as number 17 in the GHSA Class AAAA softball rankings. Five lady panthers will graduate this year; so head coach Kyle Davis will bring 10 returning players next season.
