FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Two more arrests has been made in connection to a shooting that led to the death of a Perry teenager.

The Fort Valley Police Department announced on social media over the weekend that on Sunday morning, the second suspect in the case, Daquan Williams, was arrested at a residence in Peach County by the Peach County Sheriff’s Office.

Daquan and a second suspect, Keyshon Williams, have both been arrested in connection to this case. Keyshon has been charged with Aggravated Assault, and Daquan was arrested on an open warrant for Aggravated Assault.

On Monday, they announced the arrest of Daquavious Oliver, also by the Peach County Sheriff’s Office in connection to the incident. According to the police department. Oliver was the last of the three suspects wanted for Aggravated Assault.

The arrests stem from an incident in the morning of Aug. 20. That morning, officers responded to the 400 block of St. Luke’s Lane around 6 a.m. in response to a person shot.

They found the victim, identified by Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks as 16-year-old Justin Woodford of Perry, in the backseat of a car unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

EMS responded to the scene and attempted to perform life-saving measures on the teen, but Woodford ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Eyewitness testimonies revealed that three male suspects had assaulted Woodford and a relative earlier at an apartment complex at the 1200 block of Edward Street.
