FAA to investigate Perry Plane Crash
According to Kathleen Bergen with the Federal Aviation Administration, a plane crashed Saturday at 6:30 p.m. while trying to take off from a private airstrip in Perry. The single-engine Ayres Corp., SR2-T34 Bergen said, was manned by the pilot, who was the only person onboard the craft during the incident.
Bergen noted that the Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident, and the National Transportation and Safety Board will “determine the probable cause of the accident.”
