Maci Dunlap took advantage of the early signing period and signed her National Letter of Intent (NLI) on November 10. The phenomenal HOCO Lady Bear will play Division-1 soccer for the Georgia Southern University Lady Eagles, in Statesboro, Georgia.

This signing also made Dunlap the sixth member of this team to sign a Divison-1 National Letter of Intent. Maci Dunlap will join two of her former CFC teammates in Statesboro.

During her four years as a member of the HOCO Lady Bears soccer team, Dunlap was a team captain and she was also selected for all region and all state teams. Maci led her HOCO Lady Bears to a region 1-AAAAAA Title before falling short in the GHSA Elite-8, in 2021.

Coach Cassie Ingram and her roster chose Maci Dunlap as the team’s most valuable player, because of her tenacity and poise. “She was the stronghold of the back and our defense.
