ComSouth discount for furloughed employees
ComSouth has announced a new program to assist thousands of civilian employees at Robins Air Force Base who have been furloughed due to Department of Defense budget cuts. Those affected will be eligible for a 20 percent discount on their ComSouth monthly bill, including all ComSouth services, during the furlough period.
In order to qualify, new or existing customers must bring proof of DOD employment at Robins (RAFB ID card), along with their furlough orders, to any ComSouth office. The 20 percent discount will be applied as a credit to their ComSouth bill for the months of July, August and September.
“This doesn’t make up for their loss of income, said Rob Brooks, Vice President of ComSouth, “but ComSouth wants them to know that we value their presence.” Brooks added, “Neighbors Serving Neighbors is not only our mantra, but a way of life for all of us at ComSouth.”
