Collision between truck, bicycle results in 1 death
A vehicle versus pedestrian collision has claimed the life of one.
According to the Warner Robins Police Department, Whit Martin, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel after the bicycle he was riding was struck by Justin Bryant, 19.
The incident took place Sunday at approximately 8:56 p.m. at the intersection of Knodishall Drive and Watson Boulevard.
According to the police department, Martin, of Warner Robins, was riding his bicycle eastbound on Watson when Bryant, from Warner Robins and driving a truck, exited the parking lot of 2191 Watson. There, the two collided.
No charges have been filed at this time. The investigation is still on going.
The Warner Robins Police Department Traffic Division is investigating this incident. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact 478-293-1048.
