WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — On Wednesday, Oct. 26, Clean Control Corporation — the Warner Robins-based manufacturer of OdoBan and other cleaning products — purchased NoNatz, Inc., creators of natural, DEET-free insect repellents.

According to a press release published by Clean Control, the purchase will allow the manufacturer to expand in their natural product offerings.

According to the release, Clean Control got its start in Warner Robins in 1980, when CEO Steve Davison launched the disinfectant and odor eliminator, OdoBan. Today, the company produces a full line of cleaners, disinfectant and odor eliminators. Tuesday, they added bug repellants to that list.

Similar to OdoBan, NoNatz had a humble beginning.

David Damino, a retired Georgia State Patrol Officer, developed NoNatz and its line of products alongside his family, initially made only for family and friends.

According to the release, the product quickly became, “a best-selling botanical bug spray in the United States,” when sold on a larger scale, and now includes products that repel gnats and mosquitoes, as well as candles that do the same.

“David built a true family business making amazing botanical products,” Davison said. “We’re excited to offer these incredible products to a larger market.

“Customers love NoNatz products for their high quality and natural ingredients. By adding NoNatz to our family of product offerings, we meet the needs of a wider and more diverse customer base.”

The release further stated that the acquisition of NoNatz, Inc., “fits into Clean Control Corporation’s strategy to offer a wider range of quality consumer goods for home and business, including natural products.”

The purchase was finalized on Oct. 26, 2022.
